psychtoolbox-3-dbg software package provides toolbox for vision research -- debug symbols for binaries, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install psychtoolbox-3-dbg
psychtoolbox-3-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the psychtoolbox-3-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep psychtoolbox-3-dbg *
You will get with psychtoolbox-3-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
